Digital Watermarking

Digimarc is a long-time pioneer of digital watermarking techniques, and have proudly advanced their technology over the years. Built on a patented foundation, Digimarc watermarks provide an imperceptible digital identity to product packaging that contain industry-standard GTIN numbers that are also found in UPC barcodes. Digimarc watermarks are repeated many times throughout product packaging artwork, making scanning much more efficient than traditional visual barcodes. Digimarc watermarks provide a number of key benefits, including sustainability, traceability and brand protection.

Utilising advanced digital variable data printing technologies and in-house manufacturing capabilities, Peacock Bros. can integrate the Digimarc watermark to offer customers a single- trusted supplier to digitise their products with serialised identities that ensure authenticity of their products and insights throughout the global supply chain.

AMR Hewitts, part of the Peacock Group created EnsuraBrand, a microprint solution that can be applied to your range of products to provide a level of brand protection. Custom made microprint logo and text created specifically for the client. The use of microprint is to create a design that is extremely difficult to reproduce by potential counterfeiters. It is also a way for customers to verify that the cartons circulating the marketplace are printed by AMR Hewitts PrintPackaging.

Originally designed strictly for pharmaceutical manufacturing, it now has expanded to other clients who feel the need to have a cost-effective brand-specific microprinted mark on their cartons. Some examples of this are already being used in the beauty, pharmaceutical and medicinal cannabinoids industries all created at AMR Hewitts Print Packaging.
 
With the use of our computer to plate technology and some design know-how, complex designs can be generated and customised creating a difficult task for potential counterfeiters to reproduce. Passing on the specifics of creating the microprint logo to the customer's design team or creating the design in-house we can place the microprint design on any given printing plate and print that onto the carton. Being a part of the printing process makes it an ideal economical level of security.
